It seem to me that replacement of the electric Boost pump (where fitted) will very much depend on how its used.
I have read, in this Forum, of pilots who have the Boost pump on from engine start, throughout flight, to engine stop. It may be appropriate to consider replacement at the 5 year interval.
For the more usual, intermittent usage; On before start, to check function, prime fuel stem and if hot to drive out fuel vapour. On for takeoff and landing. The Boost pump is not required for continued engine operation and can be replaced on condition (ie when it no longer delivers adequate/any pressure)

Thanks Sean. Good point, I wasn’t considering the limited usage of the boost pump under proper usage. Makes you wonder why Rotax decided to include it on the 5-year rubber replacement.

On my aircraft the Boost pump is just a safety back up ie the engine runs normally without it.
If perchance your engine needs the Boost to run (at any time) then replacing "on condition" may not be a good idea ie replace at 5 years.

Thanks, Sean. I use mine as a back-up too.
