On this engine type idle speed is not important for MAP value, normally with throttle closed about 12 to 15 inch HG. There is no adjustment as this is governed by the low pressure created internally and dependent on the throttle opening and idle speed.
Running MAP on a carbureted engine is always less than ambient pressure. This is what draws the air into the engine with the pressure differential. In general terms we only refer to WOT MAP as a reference to see if the engine is getting full power on take-off.
