Here is the standard jetting from the heavy manual. Verify you are at these numbers. Given that these are constant depression carburetors you should not have to change from the stock numbers as long as you have the balance set to stock parts. if the Edge parts are not stock then contact them for what they recommend. There is also a difference in the camshaft from the 80 HP to the 100 HP engines. Perhaps this is an issue?
Cheers

OK that sounds good... max is just over 1600 F. If you are flying low altitude you will see higher temps, like about 1400 1450F. WOT is not however the leanest burn area of flight, normally throttle back to 75% and you will see temps climb a bit. This is because the engine is jetting normally to run a bit richer for full throttle and will lean for cruise speed to save fuel.
I am at 6200 field elevation and I fly 7200-8500. I did run back to 75% but never exceeded 1400 degrees. I pulled a front and a back plug. Back plug had a tan on it, front plug had some soot and the electrode was tan. Thanks
