Thanks for the reply, I've been thru all of those but there is no complete overhaul manual. Total tear down and rebuild with all the torque specs and tolerances. I've found one called a "Repair Manual" dated 10/1994 but nothing newer. http://www.avidfoxflyers.com/index.php?/topic/5546-rotax-462-532-582-and-c-gearbox-service-manual/ Hopefully this link will take you to it. It has it all but is 24 years old. I know someone who took the Lockwood course 2 years ago and they were given an "Overhaul Manual" but can't find it.

Because the 582 engine is still in production, distribution of the 582 Overhaul Manual is restricted to the authorized factory overhaul facilities only. You can imagine the liability issues if uncertified entities were passing off a home-brew 'overhaul' as a factory overhaul...

The 94 manual, in conjunction with the current manuals available for download here and from Rotax are still being used in the Rotax authorized 2 stroke repair classes. Apart from them switching to a grossly overpriced spark plug in the the mod (17?) very little has changed.
