Hi Nick
I have the standard Rotax engine driven fuel pump at the motor and a backup electric pump which I leave on whilst engine is operating. Motor is high mounted. Will let you know how I go in a few days when I can get back to the plane. Thanks for your help.

A month ago it appeared I had the problem solved when I replaced the carby floats. I noticed one had sunk by about 3mm. The engine ran fine for about 8 hours till yesterday I noticed a small amount of fuel blew out of the breather tube of the problem carby and she ran rough for a few seconds. Then it stopped and could not get it to happen again. It only happens after periods od idling. Any thoughts? I also notice that the spark plug with the faulty carb when compared to the other cylinder look quite different. Will send the pics in the next message
