447 prop strike with a wood prop on rwy light

Per subject line, would the crankshaft need to be replaced? ANY checks that can be done on the existing c'shaft? Ultralight has been inactive for almost 10 years. What would need to be done to the engine to get her flying again?

Removing the gear case and flywheel will allow you to utilize a dial guage to measure the runoff on the crank ends. If the crank has moved it show up here. If the engine has sat idle for 10 years then the crankshaft is likely suffered. I would recommend doing an inspection of the crankshaft bearings just on the time involved.
