Can a 503 exhaust be used on a 447 ?

I have a lovely barely used 503 exhaust from elbow to tip all clamps and fittings springs etc etc, can I use that exhaust on the smaller 447 ( I know the existing 2 clamps for the 503 will not work but I have a single clamp for the 447 and muffler size is very similar ) ..
Backpressure and flow were my concern ... Or if anyone has a complete 447 exhaust they wish to part with and I can move on and start building the rest of the project.
