Rotax 582 Bombardier

Hello I recently picked up a rotax 582 bombardier blue top and I'm hoping to get some help with figuring out my gearbox's reduction ratio. It is a type C from the research I have been doing and has "300 FP" stamped on the front of it. I also can't figure out how old it is either. Any help is very appreciated and thanks for your time.

the engine was manufactured Dec 18, 2002
The 300 FP = 3:1 ratio

Thanks for that Rob. I was able to identify 02 stamped on the motor but wasn't able to determine when it was actually made. I'm picking up another Rotax 582 this weekend and will need your help determining the manufacture date on it again. I appreciate your help with the gearbox ratio also, I figured that's what it meant but wasn't sure. Thanks for the input.
