503 1200* EGT on one cylinder

Good afternoon and thanks so much to all Vets.

Is it possible that a high EGT on one cylinder can be caused by a leaking Exhaust gasket?
Will this take in fresh air on the return pulse causing a lean mixture?

Would have thought it would have to be a very bad leak to be able to such much air...is it leaking black goo at the gasket???

Whats the temp on the other cylinder.

I have the same problem with a 582 blue head. :(

Here's what I did and the problem was solved.
I cleaned the pins on the EGT gauge and all went back to normal.
