Yeh all good BUT (always a but) the disparity rectified the temps with the lower one coming up to match the higher. Makes sense I guess given they work on resistance and it was obviously a wiring connection problem. Still not passing max but they will bump 1200 at times... winter here though so to be expected. Thanks for your help Nick! :)

I had a prob with mine a few months ago...turned out to be a wire on the back of the gauge breaking up under its heat shrink,

I still have the wiring dia for my duel Westech gauge...I can dig it our if its any help to you...prob the same as this though, http://www.westach.com/instructions/2DA2-4.jpg
