I need to know what the torque measurement is on the magnetic drain plug of a Rotax 618 gearbox.

The 618 manuals aren't around like a few others any more. The owners of this website may have a copy that they can send or email to you. You will need it. If not you can email these folks and get a copy.

It doesn't have to be for a 618. The same gearbox is on the 582. I just need to know the amount of torque.

On page 118 of 170 in the Rotax Repair Manual the torque setting for the oil drain magnetic plug on a "C" type reduction box is given as 24 Nm (212 in.lb.).
